Job Description
At Capgemini, you will get to work on industry leading VLSI technologies and craft innovative solutions to enable industries/clients in diverse segments like (but not limited to) AI/ML, Cloud, Datacenter, 5G, computers, communications, mobility, automotive etc. You will get to work and partner with best and brightest in the field.
We are currently looking for a seasoned Engineering leader with 15+ years of experience who has worked on all aspects of taking a chip from concept thru finished goods.
*Position is remote, US, ideally based in the Austin, TX, Boston, MA or Portland, Oregon areas, however will consider other US locations based on experience.
Candidate experience:
- At least 5 years of implementing designs from RTL-to-GDSII using industry standard tools, flows and methodologies
- Have the technical depth and breadth to lead and guide an engineering team that owns design implementation and delivery to clients
- Demonstrated ability to propose and drive the optimal engagement model with clients while executing to/ delivering milestones
- Have the ability to regularly interface with the clients, lead technical discussions, translate the technical requirements, milestones to crisp design deliverables, checkpoints with clear entry exit criterion for different phases of the design
- Is a team player who encourages smooth collaborative work and steps up to support and encourage other members, ready to contribute his/her expertise, and mentor other team members. The engineering teams on both sides (client and Capgemini) will look up to this person as the one stop lead for the project/engagement
- Able to understand and articulate impact from any new customer or design requests, issues, bugs on overall spec, schedule, and cost
- Ability to identify any technical risks that might surface during the execution and plan appropriate mitigations and gain align with the stakeholders involved
- Regularly rollup status of the overall design, milestones, risks and convergence plans to meet or beat joint goals
- Partner with client and be accountable and responsible for resolution of issues while striving for strong outcome
Required Education:
B.S or M.S degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
