A bit about us:

Long-term care and senior living center outside of St. Petersburg, FL has an immediate hiring need for an Executive Chef! An opportunity to live and work near the Gulf Coast of FL with the potential to grow within the F&B industry. Experience in the Dining Services industry is required! In this role you will be handeling the overall production and preparation of baking and cooking, dietary standards and the quality of nutrition for all staff and residents.

• Minimum 5 years experience as Executive Chef or sous chef within the hospitality, hotel, restaurant or similar environment
• ServSafe certified
• Post Secondary courses in Restaurant Management, Nutrition or related field
• Degree or Certification from a Culinary Institute
• Exceptional Interpersonal and communication

• Supervise all kitchen personnel and staff
• Manage all shifts, staffing, scheduling, orientation and evaluation of kitchen staff
• Promote teamwork within the department
• Produce menus and assure nutritional implementation
• Maintain high quality food service for residents and healthcare staff
• Ensure all policies/procedures for safe work practices, MSDS info, infection control, Disaster Plan
• Develop and Implement standardized recipes and menus
• Responsible for vendor selection, relationships and inventory
